Milan Fashion Week: Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2013/2014

In Mailand lag unser Fokus auf Hair-Stylings und dem Look der Fashion Week Gäste. Natürlich habe ich es mir dennoch nicht nehmen lassen, die ein oder andere Show zu besuchen und freute mich sehr über die Einladung von Emporio Armani. Designer Giorgio Armani lud in das Headquarter seines Labels, um die Kollektion im imposanten „Teatro Armani“ zu zeigen. Zur Show kam nicht nur die Crème de la Crème der Modebranche, sondern auch Sängerin Fergie (Die ein oder andere von euch hat sicherlich schon meine große Vorliebe für Black Eyed Peas mitbekommen). Doch nun zur Kollektion, die den Titel „Kajal“ trug. Die Show wurde nicht wie üblich von einem, sondern gleich von drei Models eröffnet, die nebeneinander liefen und am Ende des Laufstegs nicht kehrt machten, sondern an der Fotografenmeute vorbei schritten. Während der gesamten Kollektion tauchten die Models stets in Grüppchen auf, liefen entweder neben- oder hintereinander. Schnell wurde klar: Der Designer ließ sich von den 20er-Jahren inspirieren: 7/8-Schnitte, Glockenhüte und elegante Kappen, funkelnde Broschen, ausschließlich Flats und viele maskuline Elemente. Im zweiten Teil der Kollektion tauchten vermehrt Samt und kunstvolle Drapierungen auf. Die Kollektion hob sich klar von der typischen Winter-Farbgebung ab. Statt düsteren Tönen wählte der Altmeister der italienischen Mode viele Pastelltöne und mixte diese sowohl untereinander als auch mit Moosgrün und verschiedenen Grautönen. Die Lieblingsfarbe seiner Kollegen – Schwarz – setzte er nur dezent ein. Meine persönlichen Highlights: Funkelnde Hüte, pastellfarbene Kleider mit Taillenakzentuierungen, XXL-Ohrringe und ein hellgrauer Mantel mit roséfarbener Blütenstickerei. In Milan, we focused on hair-styling and on street styles. Nevertheless, I couldn’t resist seeing one or the other show and I was especially so happy about the invitation of Emporio Armani. The designer Giorgio Armani invited us to his label- headquarter so as to show us the impressive collection. For this show not only most famous of fashion but singer Fergie were present. (I guess some of you can imagine how impressed I have been due to my passion for Black Eyed Peas).

Anyways, let’s talk about the collection named “Kajal”. The show was set up with three models instead of one. They walked beside each other along the catwalk but they didn’t turn around, as expected. No, they passed by the batch of photographers and appeared either next to each other or behind each other throughout the entire show. It was quickly notable, that the designer has been inspired by fashion of the 20s.: 7/8 cuttings, cloche hats and graceful caps as well as shiny brooches, many masculine elements and exclusively flats. In the second part of the show more and more velvet and fancy draperies were presented. In contrast to the characteristic winter coloration, the sad colors, the Italian designer went for pastel shades and teamed those with each other or combined them with moos green and grey shades. He rarely made use of the color black, the favorite color of his colleagues. My personal highlights are the followings: shiny hats, pastel colored dresses with emphasis on the waist, supersized earrings and a dusky coat with pink embroideries of blossoms.
