It was speculated for a long time and today it’s offical: The successor of Marc Jacobs is found and Nicolas Ghesquière took over the position as creative director at Louis Vuitton. It’s the Fashion news of today! Before, Ghesquière was the chef designer at Balenciaga for 15 years and in fashion he is one of the greats although not as well known at the mass as his predecessor. It’s going to change very soon. I’m already very curious on his first collection that will be shown in March 2014 at Paris Fashion Week. Already talking about Paris: My outfit of today is a real piece from Paris. It’s a shirt by Petit Bateau that was designed in cooperation with Christian Lacroix. This pretty sample with a velvet-ribbon-belt is available at store as of December 6th.
