Klar, bei einem Städtetrip verbringt man meistens nicht besonders viel Zeit im Hotel. Dennoch ist es mir wichtig, eine schöne Bleibe zu haben. Ein Hotel, in dem man sich wohl fühlt, dessen Design mich anspricht. Ich bin ein Fan von Designhotels, liebe originelle Innenarchitektur und schön gestaltete Zimmer. Dank HRS durften wir in Barcelona wieder einmal solch ein Schmuckstück kennenlernen. Das 987 Hotel Barcelona gefiel mir nicht nur optisch ausgesprochen gut, sondern hat auch noch eine grandiose Lage. Das moderne, farbenfrohe Hotel verbirgt sich hinter einer schönen, alten Fassade und liegt mitten in der City. Vom Hotel aus sind es nur ein paar Gehminuten bis zur Shoppingmeile Passeig de Gracia, zu Barcelonas Wahrzeichen Sagrada Familia braucht man zu Fuß ca. eine viertel Stunde.
Schon die Eingangshalle ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, besticht mit schönem Interieur, frischen Blumen und viel Farbe. Auf der linken Seite der Lobby befindet sich die violett beleuchtete Hotelbar, in der man in gemütlicher Atmosphäre tagsüber einfach nur entspannt sitzen oder abends einen Cocktail genießen kann. Auch unser geräumiges Zimmer war sehr farbenfroh. Grundfarben des Raums waren strahlende Grün- und Blautöne, die auf dunkles Holz trafen. Mein Highlight: Eine XXL-Dusche und der kleine Balkon, von dem aus man direkt auf das Wahrzeichen der Stadt, die Sagrada Familia, blicken konnte. Ein großes Plus: Es gibt kostenloses W-Lan, das auch in den Zimmern gut funktioniert. Leider nicht üblich, da viele Hotels bis zu 25 Euro pro Tag für kabelloses Internet verlangen.
Wenn ich im Urlaub bin, dann zelebriere ich sehr gerne das Frühstück. Deshalb lege ich Wert auf ein großes Buffet mit einem guten Mix aus verschiedenen Produkten. An dieser Stelle möchte ich die volle Punktzahl an das 987 Barcelona vergeben, denn dort habe ich das beste Hotelfrühstück seit langem (Ihr wisst, ich reise viel!) genossen. Ein exzellentes Rührei, frisches Obst, frisch gepresster Orangensaft, eine große Auswahl an Brötchen, Müsli, katalanische Spezialitäten und süße Teilchen en masse.

Mein Fazit: Ein sehr schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage zu einem absolut angemessenen Preis! Bei HRS gibt es das 987 Barcelona schon ab 99 Euro pro Nacht im Doppelzimmer.

Of course, during a city tour you hardly spend any time in hotel. Despite, it is important to me to have a nice accommodation. A hotel which I feel comfortable at and which design appeals me. I’m fan of design hotels; I love original interior design and rooms arranged nicely. Thanks to HRS which introduced us to such an eye candy. I like the design of 987 Barcelona and that it’s grandiosely placed. The modern and colorful hotel is concealed right behind an old beautiful front and is placed in city center. It only takes some minutes to reach shopping street Passeig de Gracia and it takes you only 15 minutes to reach town’s landmark – Sagrada Familia.
Already lobby is tastefully arranged with stunning furniture, fresh flowers in addition to lots of colors. On the left hand side of lobby you can find a violet illuminated hotel bar where at you can just enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and relax at day or appreciate a cocktail at night. Our commodious room was really colorful, too. Room designed with the base colors bright green-and blue shades came along with dark wood. My highlight: XXL shower and the tiny balcony which from you directly could see town’s landmark, the Sagrada Familia.
My holidays are always in line with a good breakfast. Therefore, I appreciate a big buffet with a good mixture of various products. Here, I would like to give a compliment to 987 Barcelona because I had my best breakfast at a hotel in a long while (and you know that I travel a lot). Excellent scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice, a big selection on rolls, muesli, specialties of Catalan and sweets en masse.
My resumée: A very nice hotel that is perfectly placed to an absolute appropriate price! At HRS you can already get a double room for EUR 99 per night at 987 Barcelona.
