Bevor wir in fünf Tagen nach Dubai fliegen, möchte ich noch jede Menge Bilder vom letzten Teil unserer großen Reise mit euch teilen. Mein letzter Mexiko-Beitrag ging gerade online, widmen wir uns nun also Brasilien. Insgesamt zehneinhalb Stunden flogen wir von Mexiko City aus nach Rio de Janeiro, wo wir für sechs Tage eine Wohnung im Stadtteil Copacabana gemietet hatten. Neben dem Zuckerhut (So ein wundervoller Sonnenuntergang!), Cristo Redentor und den berühmten Stränden Copacabana und Ipanema stand auch der Stadtteil Santa Teresa ganz oben auf unserer Rio-To-Do-Liste. Santa Teresa ist ein Künstlerviertel, das sehr idyllisch auf mehreren Hügeln liegt und von oben einen wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt bietet.

Before we are flying to Dubai in five days, I would like to share some more pictures of the last part of our travels with you. My last bit about Mexico just went online, so let’s move on to Brazil. All in all we flew ten and a half hours from Mexico City to Rio de Janeiro, where we had rented an apartment in Copacabana for six days. Next to the Sugar Loaf Mountain (Such a beautiful sunset!), Cristo Redentor and the famous beaches Copacabana and Ipanema, we also had the district Santa Teresa on top of our Rio-to-do-list. Santa Teresa is an artists’ quarter, which is idyllically based on some hills, offering a marvelous view over the city.
