Mein Highlight des heutigen Tages: Die Fashion Show von KENZO, die am Morgen in der Cité du Cinéma stattfand. Schon als man den großen Saal betrat wurde klar, dass der „Ozean“ ein wichtiges Thema in der Kollektion von Carol Lim und Humberto Leon sein würde. Wasser als Inspiration spiegelte sich nicht nur in der kompletten Kollektion wider, sondern auch im Setting. Auf dem Boden befanden sich dutzende mit Wasser gefüllte Schalen, die sich später als Lautsprecher herausstellten, zum Showbeginn ging am Anfang des Runways ein gigantischer Wasserfall herab. Teil der Kollektion ist übrigens auch die Charity-Linie „No Fish No Nothing“, die KENZO für die Blue Marine Foundation entworfen hat. Der Verkaufserlös der Pullover und T-Shirts geht an die Stiftung. Ganz nebenbei bin ich mir sicher, dass der aussagekräftige Pulli nach den Löwenköpfen und Augen in den vergangenen Saisons ein neuer Bestseller des Hauses wird. Noch schöner, wenn man mit dem Kauf nicht nur ein Trendpiece trägt, sondern auch Gutes tut. Mehr zur Kollektion kommt schon bald, hier zeige ich euch eine kleine Preview von der großartigen Location und der kreativen Inszenierung.

My highlight of the day: Fashion show from KENZO that took place in Cité du Cinéma in the mornings. While entering the hall one could already recognize that the “ocean” is going to play an essential role in the collection from Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. The water served as inspiration for the entire collection as well as for the setting. On the floor were a dozen of bowls filled with water that appeared to be speakers later on. Moreover, on start of the show an enormous waterfall flew at the beginning of the runways. A part of the collection is from the series of charity “No Fish No Nothing” which was developed by KENZO for the Blue Marine Foundation. All returns of sale are redirected to the foundation. I’m sure about that the expressive pullover with lions head and eyes is going to be its bestseller. It’s amazing when purchasing and contribution to something good goes along with each other. More to the collection will be released very soon. Here is a little preview of the magnificent location with its creative staging.

Wie versprochen habe ich heute eine große Portion Street Styles für euch, die Chris gestern geknipst hat. Auch in Paris wird schnell klar: Die Kombination von Schwarz und Weiß ist momentan DER Trend schlechthin. Selbst ich als größter Fan knalliger Farben muss sagen, dass ich diesen Mix sehr gerne mag, Insbesondere wenn man die elegante Kombi durch dezente Details wie roten Lippenstift oder eine bunte Tasche ein wenig auflockert. Ich bin gespannt: Welcher Look gefällt euch am besten? Ich persönlich mag die beiden Ladies in Rosa-Violett-Schwarz sehr gerne. Auch Miroslava Dumas weißen XXL-Kragen, Zanitas hellblaue Jacke und Chiaras Tüllrock finde ich wunderschön. Ach ja, und eine Frage muss ich hier mal in die Runde werfen: Wie steht ihr zu einer Frau, die mit über 50 noch einen Hut mit Minnie-Mouse-Ohren trägt? Top oder Flop?
